QE Park Planning Continues

Potential user groups, local residents, and the community were invited to attend an Open House Public Information Meeting on February 4, 2010 where the latest space renderings were displayed.

Operations Consultants, Ginder Consulting and Claire Tucker- Reid, contracted by the Town of Oakville, will be contacting various community groups throughout February for information on their current and future scheduling, programming, and rental rate requirements.

Initially, focus group meetings are scheduled with the various arts and cultural disciplines.  This will be followed by a survey to ensure all of the groups' information is captured.  CUAS has already provided the consultants with comprehensive data compiled over the past two years.  The final report is expected in June.
