After the Committee as a Whole with 7 of 12 councillors present, endorsed option 3 for the re-purposing of the fomer Queen Elizabeth Park high school as a shared community centre for arts, cultural and other recreational purposes, Council officially ratified the preliminary design for Option 3 on Monday, April 20th, 2009.  With Council's approval in hand, more detailled design concepts will now be developed to ensure that the community centre suits the requirements of Oakville's citizens and community groups.  For more detail click on following link:
