WORLD OF THREAD FESTIVAL 2009

Volunteers from Oakville’s six fibre arts guilds and the wider community organize a festival of fibre arts every two years. 2009 will be our sixth celebration of traditional and contemporary fibre arts. Past festivals have included exhibitions, speakers, and workshops. Our pArtnership will continue with the Oakville Arts Council, Oakville Museum, ArtWorks, and Sheridan Institute with new connections to the downtown Oakville BIA. The exhibition, Common Thread, is an international juried show, on-going biennially since 1994.
